Pokus o vysvětlení Durkheimovy koncepse společnosti a společenského vývoje. Je založen na Durkheimově koncepci sociálního tlaku na jednotlivce. Je analyzována koncepce kolektivního vědomí i Durkheimovo pojetí objektivity tohoto vědomí a možnosti jeho výzkumu. Zkoumán je i vztah mezi Durkheimovou koncepcí práva, morálky, náboženství a vědy.

The author seeks to explain Durkheim's comception of society and social evolution. The explanation is based on Durkheim's conception of the pressure by society as whole on individuals. The notion of collectie consciousness is analyzed, as well as Durkheim's conception od the objectivity of this consciousness and possibility of its scietific study. The relation between Durkheim's conception of law, morality, religion and science is studied as well.
