Abstract

V rámci výzkumného záměru řešeného na Geografickém ústavu Masarykovy univerzity v Brně byly zkoumány mapové podklady v oblasti krizového řízení a vizuální percepce (vnímání) map určených pro krizový management u dvou vybraných skupin uživatelů. Mapové podklady zanesené v krizových plánech jsou jako 'zvláštní skutečnosti' utajené a navíc pro mapové podklady a jejich tvorbu (včetně soustavy mapových znaků) nejsou vytvořeny potřebné standardy, proto byla navržena vlastní mapa určená pro krizové řízení při povodňové situaci. Bylo využito symbolů americké FGDC a vlastního návrhu liniových a plošných mapových znaků. Příspěvek informuje o závěrech z testování vizuální percepce uživatelů map navrhnutých pro krizové řízení při povodňové situaci.

Abstract (in English)

This document describes the maps developed for the emergency management and conclusions of testing the visual perception of these maps with two groups of chosen users. These base maps recorded in the emergency plans are secret as the 'unusual state of matter' and moreover, there are not any necessary norms coined for the base maps and their creation (including the system of the map symbols). On that account own map intended for the flood emergency management was designed. The symbols of the american FGDC and new designed line and area map symbols were used on the map. Base maps and visual perception were explored within project in the Department of Geography at Masaryk University in Brno.
