Abstract

Věda o materiálu je nejstarší vědou, velmi důležitou pro rozvoj lidstva v minulosti i v budoucnu. Proto je velmi důležité seznámit s jejími výsledky i věřejnost, v našem případě i studenty tzv. nefyzikálních kombinací, tj kombinujících "základy technické výroby" s jinými předměty, často i humanitního rázu. Protože přednáška "Fyzikální základy vědy o materiálu" je velmi obsáhlá, je v článku uveden pouze její sylabus. Jako příklad je uvedena část týkající se koroze kovů v kompletní formě. Výsledky zavedení přednášky byly testovány na skupině studentů a porovnány s výsledky z minulých let. Rovněž byla vzata v úvahu "Anketa" studentů v informačním systému MU.

Abstract (in English)

Material sciences have belong for ages to sciences determining fate of mankind. It is clear that it will be valid also in future. Therefore it is necessary to inform common people about basic properties of materials (on the popular way). Our work belongs to such attempts how to clear up basic properties of materials to nonspecialised peoples, in our case to students of so called nonphysical specialisations at Faculty of Education, Masaryk University in Brno. Because our work (lecture) is comparatively extensive, only abstract of it is shown and as an example the chapter dealing with corrosion is presented in full version. The results were tested and compared with the ones from two previous years.
