TY - CONF ID - 815174 AU - Kyncl, Libor PY - 2008 TI - Differences of regulation – payment systems in broader and narrower sense of the word KW - payment system KW - gross settlement system KW - eGovernment KW - G2G KW - B2G KW - G2B KW - service KW - Czech National Bank KW - CERTIS KW - Czech Republic KW - law KW - legal regulation N2 - This presentation was intended to explain the main differences in the regulation of payment systems in broader meaning and in narrower sense of the word. The broader sense of the word is mainly the economic one - it represents all the methods of payment used among physical and artificial persons including states, banks and other institutions. The broader sense of the word also covers the electronic payment instruments and electronic money that are strictly divided from payment systems in the narrower sense of the word. The narrower sense means only payment systems acting between banks, credit unions, financial firms and some other professional subjects of financial market. They are also called large value payment systems and their legal regulation is usually the very strict one. ER -
