Abstract

Výsledky kvalitativního výzkumu, který využil metodu zakotvené teorie, ukazují, jak se privatizace náboženské zkušenosti projevuje i v rámci církevní organizace, konkrétně na příkladu osmi mladých, věřících lidí, kteří se považují za praktikující křesťany římskokatolického vyznání. V době výzkumu se tito lidé nacházeli ve specifické životní fázi: byli ekonomicky nezávislí, dosud nesezdaní a žijící jako singles, tzn. bez stálého, dlouhodobého partnera. Prostřednictvím hloubkových, kvalitativních rozhovorů byly definovány tři typy věřících, podle jejich postoje k církevní organizaci na jednu stranu a osobní náboženské zkušenosti na stranu druhou. V prvním případě to byla subjektivní, intimní a individualizovaná náboženská zkušenost, která předurčovala postoje k církvi, k jejím předpisům a rituálům. Ve druhém případě byla osobní víra a příslušnost k církvi neoddělitelně spjaty, v případě třetího typu byla náboženská zkušenost prožívána téměř výhradně jako zvnitřnělé náboženské normy a účast na náboženských rituálech.

Abstract (in English)

The results of qualitative research, which has used the method of grounded theory, has shown how the privatization of religious experience is demonstrated also in church organization, particularly in the case of eight young people, who regard themselves as active members of the Roman Catholic Church. These people were also in a specific situation, when the research was being realized: they were financially self-sufficient, still unmarried and they were living on their own, without a partner. Three ideal types of believers were defined through qualitative, in-depth interviews with these people. These types are based on their attitude to the church organization on the one hand and on their subjective faith on the other. In the first case it was subjective, intimate and individualized religious experience that determines the attitude of believers to church, to its rules and rituals. In the second case the subjective faith and churchmanship were inseparably integrated and in the case of the third type the religious experience was taken almost entirely as interiorized religious norms and the participation to church ceremony.
