Immunohistochemical and immunocytochemical methods demonstrate the expression of nestin, the intermediate filament protein class VI, in osteosarcomas. Osteosarcoma cell lines showing nestin+/CD133+ phenotype were successfully derived from these tumors.

S využitím imunohistochemických a imunocytochemických metod byla prokázána exprese nestinu (proteinu intermediárních filament třídy VI) v osteosarkomech. Z těchto nádorů byly úspěšně derivovány buněčné linie s fenotypem nestin+/CD133+.
