At first we did 2D GE experiments were we tested variability in protein spots introduced during the cell lysis. The percentage of qualitatively and quantitatively different spots was about 0.5 % and 2.5 %, respectively. To determine the protein concentration differences bewteen two samples we utilized protein labeling by ICPL. It was found to be precise (RSD approx. 5 %). Moreover the results obtained by different approaches are comparable. ER -
