Abstract (in English) |

Translation of the paper Günther Mensching: Heidegger: Seinsfrage mit fataler Antwort. In his work "Being and Time", Martin Heidegger exposed a far-reaching question of the meaning of being. He concluded that for its forgottenness of being, the European metaphysics hasn't been able to pose and answer this question at all. In the present paper it is shown that Heidegger's thinking is related to the transcendental philosophy of I. Kant and to the philosophy of the German idealism. Existentials, Heidegger's crucial notions, are criticized because they are settled between the empirical and transcendental area and therefore they are mere metaphors. In his late philosophy, Heidegger was interested in language issues and their relevance to the thinking of being. Such thinking cannot accept traditional language because philosophy has to plunge into an authentic thinking in order to overcome metaphysics. All preceding fallacious interpretations of being are not considered as a mistake of an individual thinker, but as a current enowning of being. Concerning this, the author sees a relationship of Heidegger's thinking with politics. It is revealed that Heidegger didn't want to abandon this linkage in his publications after the war. The political implications are highly apparent in his identification of being with the Leader. |
