Abstract
Gobius brevis, a gobiid fish with otoliths in situ indicates that the final deposition of the Sastin Sand in the Slovak part of the Vienna Basin took place in a very shallow environment corresponding a rather closed lagoon with brackish or oligohaline water, having deficiency of oxygen on the bottom and being deprived of active bottom currents.
Abstract (in Czech)
Gobius brevis s otolity in situ indikuje pro šaštínské písky slovenské části vídeňské pánve velmi mělké prostředí uzavřené laguny s brakickou či oligohalinní vodou, nedostatkem kyslíku u dna a bez dnových proudů.
