Abstract

V originále

The environment described below covers tools for building shared databases of anonymous medical image studies, verification of findings and final diagnosis by responsible person, distant consultations, searches by means of various types of filters etc. This solution meets the students' demand from the university to provide them with an environment, that has a direct relationship to their future work. For high-quality education, however, it is necessary to reflect the rapid development of technologies and changes that come with it. The new generation of online applications of all kinds not only enables easy publishing by means of exposure to digital learning materials, but (e.g. using editorial systems like wiki's, blog's) also changes in approach to their development and approach to education. Collaborative building blocks of environment for effective training in medical image diagnostics can be extended to many other layers, e.g. Microsoft Share Point, Google Sites or LMS Moodle that provide additional ways of communication, cooperation, and training. This way the high quality medical image studies are accessible to different groups of users without losing the quality of medical training.
