Abstract
Reviewed are some conclusions drawn from our recent research on the interference of excessive bromide intake with iodine metabolism in the rat. The biological behavior of bromide ion, especially in the thyroid gland, is compared with the behavior of iodide and chloride.

Je podán rozbor některých závěrů vyplývajících z výsledků našeho nedávného výzkumu interference nadbytečného příjmu bromidu u laboratorního potkana s jeho metabolismem jodu. Biologické chování bromidového iontu, zejména ve štítné žláze, je porovnáváno s chováním jodidu a chloridu.
