Abstract

The DEB platform for dictionary writing systems development. The platform supports storing of any XML data, utilising Oracle Berkeley DB XML, and is based on strict client-server architecture. Server side is composed of modules (servlets in Ruby) specializing in one task. Client applications are usually lightweight graphical or web interfaces.

Platforma DEB pro vývoj slovníkových systémů. Platforma podporuje ukládání jakýchkoliv XML dat, s využitím databáze Oracle Berkeley DB XML, a je založena na architektuře klient-server.Serverové část je složena z jednoúčelových modulů (servlety v Ruby). Klientské aplikace jsou obvykle grafické nebo webové aplikace.
