Abstract

V originále

The study deals with the trade and shops in a Slovak village of Pekarka during socialist era. It argues that unlike in other socialist places the shops in Pekarka were not allienated and explains why. The reasons were incorporation of new shops and increase in consumption into the socialist story of Progress and embedednes of shops into the traditional social life of the village.

In Czech

Všíma si pritom označenie vybudovania obchodu a nárastu v spotrebe ako ukazovatele pokroku a začlenenie predaja do tradičného sociálneho života dediny.
