Abstract

Onkologické onemocnění dítěte zasáhne do života všech členů rodiny. Dochází ke změnám režimu, rytmu a životního stylu rodiny. Je naprosto přirozené, že maximum péče a zájmu rodičů, zdravotníků, přátel i příbuzných je věnováno nemocnému dítěti. Potřeby a zájmy zdravých sourozenců se ocitají na druhém místě. Zdraví sourozenci dětí s onkologickým onemocněním jsou přitom vystaveni mnoha náročným změnám, se kterými může být obtížné se vyrovant - například změny v rolích jednotlivých členů rodiny, nutnost větší samostatnosti a zodpovědnosti, omezení svých vlastních sociálních a zájmových aktivit. Děti popisují zaplavení silnými pocity, jako je například pocit osamocení, odmítnutí, úzkost, smutek, strach, vztek, žárlivost, závist a pocity viny. Nedostatek informací vede ke vzniku mýtů a obavám z nejhoršího. Výsledky výzkumů poukazují na fakt, že včasná psychologicko-edukativní intervence může pomoci s usnadněním adaptace a zabránit vzniku pozdějších možných psychických problémů. Problematice prožívání nádorového onemocnění z hlediska zdravých sourozenců nemocných dětí je stále věnována minimální pozornost.

Abstract (in English)

The oncology disease of a child interferes with the life of all family members. The changes in regime, rhythm and life-style take place. It is quite natural that maximum of the care and interest of parents, health workers, friends and relatives is devoted to the ill child. The needs and interests of healthy siblings are shifted to second-rate place. The healthy siblings of children with oncology disease are nevertheless exposed to many demanding changes that may be difficult to cope with - e.g. changes in roles of particular family members, necessity of greater independence and responsibility, restriction of own social and interest activities. Children describe flooding by strong feelings, such as e.g. isolation, refusal, anxiety, sorrow, fear, anger, jealousness, envy and guilt. The lack of information leads to rise of myths and apprehension of the worst. The research results point to the fact that the early psychological - educational intervention can help to facilitate the adaptation and to prevent from the rise of later possible mental problems. The minimal attention is still paid to the problems of experiencing the oncology disease from the standpoint of healthy siblings of ill children.
