There are four proteins associated with lung surfactant. Low quality or quantity of these proteins often causes severe symptoms in lungs. We demonstrated that insulin serves as a negative regulator of transcription of proteins associated with lungs surfactant in H441 and A549 cell lines.

Existují čtyři proteiny asociované s plicním surfaktantem. Nízká kvalita nebo kvantita těchto proteinů v plicích často vyvolává závažné symptomy. Ukázali jsme, že inzulín funguje jako negativní regulátor transkripce proteinů asociovaných s plicním surfaktantem v buněčných liniích H441 a A549.
