Abstract

Výzkumná studie vychází ze závěrů řady kvalitativních výzkumných sond, které pracovníci katedry sociální pedagogiky realizovali v posledních několika letech. Autor na základě kvalitativních výzkumných přístupů, především s použitím ohniskových skupin a rozhovorů, popisuje sociální a kulturní determinanty, kterými jsou ovlivňováni romští žáci. Deskripce dílčích determinant byla vytvářena v kontextu teorie sociální a kulturní reprodukce a reprodukce vzdělání, kterou rozpracovává sociologie. Studii završuje návrh možných strategií edukace romských žáků.

Abstract (in English)

The research is based on the conclusions of a series of research probes that had been realised by the team of the social pedagogy department in the last years. The author - using the quality research principles and using mostly the method of focus groups and interviews - describes social and cultural determinants that influence the Romany people. The description of the partial determinants was created in the context of the theory of social and cultural reproduction and educational reproduction that is deal with by sociology. The study is finished by an outline of possible strategies for Romany pupils education.
