Abstract

Dans l étude La Conversion de Joris-Karl Huysmans, nous analysons l oeuvre de cet auteur qui correspond a son évolution spirituelle. Nous divisons le mémoire en 4 étapes: 1/ naturalisme ou loin de la maison du Pere, 2/ quete des valeurs spirituelles ou a la recherche de la maison du Pere, 3/ conversion ou la maison du Pere retrouvée et 4/ romans catholiques ou dans la maison du Pere. Le but de ce travail est de montrer comment le choix des sujets littéraires dépend des transformations personnelles de l auteur. La conversion devient ainsi theme majeur de la littérature de Huysmans.

Abstract (in Czech)

Ve studii nazvané Konverze Jorise-Karla Huysmanse dáváme do souvislostí duchovní vývoj autora a témata jeho děl. Pro přehlednost dělíme Huysmansovu tvorbu na čtyři oddíly a ke každému přiřazujeme ještě označení vycházející z biblického podobenství o marnotratném synu (Lk 15,11-24): 1/ tvorba období naturalismu neboli daleko od otcovského domu; 2/ dekadentní romány neboli hledání otcovského domu; 3/ román o konverzi neboli nalezení otcovského domu; 4/ katolické romány neboli v otcovském domě. Cílem práce je ukázat závislost volby literárních témat na osobních proměnách autora a dojít tak ke konverzi jako hlavnímu literárnímu tématu, zahrnujícímu všechna dílčí témata analyzovaná u jednotlivých románů.

Abstract (in English)

In the study Joris-Karl Huysmans Conversion we show, how the author s spiritual development is related to the topics of his works. We subdivide his literary production into four sections. Every sections is entitled in accordance to the biblical parable of the prodigal son (Lk 15,11-24): 1/ works of the period of naturalism or far from the father s house; 2/ decadent novels or search of the father s house; 3/ novel about conversion or finding of the father s house; 4/ catholic novels or in the father s house. The aim of our work is to show dependency of the literary topics choice on the author s personal transformation and this way to achieve conversion as a main literary topic, incliding all single topics analyzed in the novels.
