The paper deals with issue of research and education concerning area of Central and Eastern Europe in the Czech political science workplaces. Besides the analysis of scientific outcomes it deals with education on this area at Czech universities.

Článek se věnuje problematice výzkumu a výuky areálu střední a východní Evropy v české politologii. Kromě tématické analýzy vědeckých výstupů se věnuje i výuce o tomto areálu na českých univerzitách.
