Abstract

Příspěvek krátce shrnuje, jakým způsobem se vyvíjela evropská úprava uznávání kvalifikací a jaká je její aktuální podoba. V souvislosti s nutností České republiky přizpůsobit se evropskému právu rozebírá jednotlivé oblasti, do nichž se uznávání kvalifikací promítá, a zároveň komentuje, jakým způsobem je potřebná úprava implementována do českého práva.

Abstract (in English)

There are four basic freedoms set up to help the European Union to become the most developed economic and knowledge society in the World. Withdrawing the limits of free movement and free residence of persons is not enough to achieve the efficient allocation of the human resources. There are also some more obstructions springing from natural matters. One of them is the diversity of national education systems, which provides different form, range or quality of education corresponding to the national requirements. So that obtaining a thesis improves qualification towards certain professions in domestic state could become a problem for access to the same profession in the host state. That is why it has become necessary to have a system ensuring the mutual recognition of qualifications within the European Union in order to be admitted to practise a regulated profession in a non-domestic state. Once the Czech Republic is a part of the European Union, it is ought to follow the European law and policy, so it is also supposed to transpose the European system on recognition of qualifications into the Czech law. The contribution deals with the impact of the European system of recognition of qualifications to the domestic Czech law, including the way, how is the Czech law coping with its recent changes.
