Abstract

La ponencia trató del uso del ablativo de gerundio en la Crónica Mozárabe de 754. En el texto hay ejemplos del uso clásico, pero también ejemplos que documentan la aproximación del ablativo de gerundio al participio de presente. Este proceso se manifiesta por la aparición de los ablativos de gerundio circunstanciales, incluidos los que denotan el Estado de Cosas anterior al del predicado principal. En la Crónica Mozárabe hay también ejemplos del ablativo de gerundio en construcción absoluta. El uso del ablativo de gerundio en la Crónica Mozárabe es caracterizado, sobre todo, por el valor semántico no precisamente especificado. La evolución del ablativo de gerundio en la Crónica Mozárabe guarda relación con el uso del gerundio en el castellano antiguo.

Abstract (in Czech)

Příspěvek pojednával o užití ablativu gerundia v Mozarabské kronice z roku 754. V textu jsou případy klasického užití, ale i doklady, které svědčí o sbližování ablativu gerundia s participiem prézentu. Tento proces se projevuje výskytem ablativů gerundia s příslovečným významem, a to včetně případů, které vyjadřují předčasnost před hlavním predikátem. V Mozarabské kronice je také doložena absolutní kosntrukce s ablativem gerundia. Užití ablativu gerundia je charakterizováno zejména přesně nespecifikovanou sémantickou funkcí. Lze rovněž pozorovat vztah mezi vývojem ablativu gerundia a užitím gerundia ve starošpanělských textech.

Abstract (in English)

In the paper, the use of the ablative of gerund in the Mozarabic Chronicle of 754 was studied. There are ablatives of gerund used in a classical way, but also ablatives of gerund that approximate to the present participle as employed in Late Latin. Their approximation is proved by the significant number of circumstantial ablatives of gerund, including those denoting anteriority with regard to the State of Affairs of the main predication. In the Mozarabic Chronicle, there are cases of absolute construction with the gerund too. The most typical feature of the ablative of gerund is not a precisely specified semantic function. The development observed in the Mozarabic Chronicle can be related to the use of gerund in the old Spanish texts.
