The Directorate General "Justice, Freedom and Security" of the European Commission has entrusted the European Legal Studies Institute at Osnabrück with the implementation of the Fundamental Rights Action Plan (FRAP). The main purpose of the FRAP project is to provide raise awareness among national judges for the development of a European society based on the respect of fundamental rights as recognized in Article 6(2) of the Treaty on the European Union.
