Abstract
Our experiments revealed the primary importance of absorption heat released during the process of zeolite mediated hemorrhage control. Zeolite grains of lower dimension exhibit better performance in the in vitro experiments. However small grains are not compatible with the necessity of their removal from the human wound after the bleeding was stopped. Some very promising results were obtained for the calcium ion containing zeolites (CALSIT).
