V originále
RNA Club is an annual meeting of researchers working in the RNA field. In the year 2009 it was organized by Stepanka Vanacova in Brno. The conference was organized as a one day meeting in the form of lectures, poster presentations and discussions. The meeting included 14 oral presentations, including the two invited lectures from excellent scientists, the EMBO YIP Dr. Gernot Laengst from University of Regensburg and Dr. Andre Gerber from ETH Zurich. Fourteen posters were presented during lunch break. Most of the participants came from Czech Universities and institutes, however this year, there was a substantial participation of scientists and students from foreign institutes such as Cambridge, the University of Vienna, Max Perutz laboratories, and the Hubrecht Institute in Utrecht, Netherlands. The meeting has been well received, most participants even marked it as the best RNA Club in the meeting history. The abstracts were published in the meeting book with ISSN 1214-8598.
