TY - JOUR ID - 878746 AU - Hemza, Jan PY - 2009 TI - The Delay Neurological Deficit: Problems of Vessels during Skull Base Procedures PB - Thieme CY - New Orleans, USA KW - anatomy KW - peroperative technic problems KW - vessels N2 - The author retrospeclively surveyed delay neurological deficit after neurosurgery procedures. The aim of this study was to analyze delayed neurological deficits following surgical resection of any pathological substances. After skull base surgery procedures the neurological deficit development without destruction of anatomical structures, cranial nerves, brain tissue, inned ear. The first problem with deficit develop during 7-72hours. The author study the anatomical problems of vascularized nerves and nervous tissue (arteries, veins, capillary rete) and he constructs theory about the vessel lesions. He discusses the haematological problems and diferent approaches to treated this. (trombolysis, arterial-capillary-venous hypertensive syndrome, oedema, hemorrhagie, vasospams) The author prepared the review from literature about delay neurological deficit after skull base procedures and look at preventional treatment before this problems.
