Abstract

Kapitola popisuje současný stav psychoterapie, a to především tak, jak je psychoterapie dnes prezentována ve světové odborné literatuře. Jsou zmíněny vlivné přístupy a převládající trendy. Autoři v 10 bodech shrnují, co nejdůležitějšího dnes o psychoterapii víme. Např. o její účinnosti, o faktorech této účinnosti nebo o důležitých součástech terapeutického vztahu, jako je například hledání terapie šité na míru klientovi apod. Zařazena je pasáž o manuálech, kde jsou shrnuty přednosti i námitky vůči těmto vodítkům. Zmíněny jsou riziko terapeutovy předpojatosti i otázka toho, jak dlouhá má být psychoterapie.

Abstract (in English)

The chapter describes the current state of psychotherapy, particularly in the scientific literature worlwide. The main influential approaches and trends are mentioned. The authors summarize in ten points overview what we know about essence of contemporary psychotherapy. E.g. efficacy and effectiveness, nonspecific factors, or important elements of therapeutic relationship as tailor-made therapy are described. The chapter includes also mention about manualized therapy today, the objections are included. Also therapeuts preconceptiones and lenght of therapy are described.
