Abstract

Publikace „Psychosociální aspekty sluchového postižení“ je zaměřena některé parametry, vymezující komunitu osob se sluchovým postižením. V první části je předloženo pojednání o hodnotovém profilu, který je velmi často uváděn jako specifický a „kulturotvorný“ prvek. V další časti je zařazena studie, v níž je uvedena problematika pojetí znakového jazyka a jeho uvědomění u nositelů vady sluchu. V dalších kapitolách je přiblížena problematika psychologického vyšetřování osob se sluchovým postižením a úpravy psychologických testů, dále pak aspekty v současné době tolik diskutovaného integrovaného vzdělávání. Míra integrace se projevuje v praktickém životě každého člověka s postižením mimo jiné i jeho konkurenceschopností na pracovním trhu. Příprava žáků se sluchovým postižením ke vstupu na trh práce je obsahem poslední kapitoly. Závěry, které jsou s odvoláním na původní výzkumy uvedeny v jednotlivých kapitolách, by měly být důležitou zprávou pro speciální pedagogy – surdopedy. Cílem publikace je ukázat na rezervy, objevující se v průběhu času a měnící svojí přítomností pojetí výchovy a vzdělávání dětí a žáků s vadami sluchu.

Abstract (in English)

The publication “Psychosocial Aspects of Hearing Impairment” focuses on certain defining characteristics of the hearing-impaired community. The first section consists of a paper on value profiles, frequently mentioned as one of the most typical and “culture-enabling” characteristics of hearing disability. The second section includes a paper dealing with the concept of sign language and language awareness of the hearing impaired. The subsequent chapters cover the issue of psychological examination of hearing impaired persons and how to adapt the psychological tests accordingly, and introduce various views on the hotly-discussed topic of integrated education. The extent of integration also affects the competitive ability of the disabled on the labor market. The last section of the publication discusses the matter of the vocational training of hearing impaired students and how it might help them succeed on the labor market. The conclusions of the publication, referring to the original research introduced in the foregoing sections, are intended chiefly for special education teachers, in particular for specialists in hearing impaired education. The publication aims to present some of the everchanging resources which affect or could affect the concept of education and learning of hearing impaired students and children.
