Abstract
The proposed chapter attempts to investigate human security as a liberal project that has indeed drawn on certain theoretical information and had practical effects. The observation on which the chapter rests is that one needs to direct his/her attention to deeper levels from which a certain version of human security emerged, to which it later retreated, and from which it, again, re-emerged in its most recent manifestation of an explicit and successfully sedimented doctrine.
