Total prospected area was 11,25 ha. The results of geophysical survey in Khabur territory are in several places different. The survey registered a number of circular and oval-shaped anomalies. Some of these anomalies can be interpreted as a possible fireplaces or kilns. Other magnetic anomalies can be interpreted as trace of intensive agricultural activities. Survey registered also anomalies, they can be interpreted like a houses. A clear definition of detected archaeological structures is in most cases impossible. However it turned out, geophysical prospection has a big potential also in this region of Syria. ER -
