Publikace se zabývá problematikou komunikace a dalšími interakcemi se seniory. Stěžejním tématem je identifikace účinných technik a postupů pro navázání komunikace se seniory v institucích i v domácím prostředí. Speciální pozornost je věnována problematice ageismu a jeho doapdu na vnímání stáří ve společnosti, na prožžívání seniorů, na fyziologické změny související s dlouhověkostí a s rizikem kognitivní manipulace.

The book deals with the problematic of the communication with elderly and other interactions with them. The main theme is identification of the effectiveness techniques of the communication with elderly in the institution or livint in the natural social enviroment. Special attention is focused on the ageism and the influence of it to the society.
