Abstract
MALDI MS profiling of whole bacterial cells or their extracts is nowadays increasing its share in the field of bacteria identification and taxonomy due to its rapidity and discriminatory power. The aim of this work was to examine the robustness and practicability of MALDI MS profiling on a model system of lactic acid bacteria representatives and, furthermore, on a large set of lactic acid bacteria isolated from diverse sources.

MALDI MS profilování se stále více uplatňuje na poli identifikace bakterií díky své rychlosti i rozlišovací schopnosti. Cílem této práce bylo zhodnotit robustnost a použitelnost teto metody na modelové sadě bakterií mléčného kvašení a na sadě vzorků izolovaných z různých zdrojů.
