Abstract
The authors advocate the importance of long term monitoring of blood pressure and heart rate for signatures of environmental cyclic and other variabilities in space including climatic changes. The role of genetics in chronobiological rhythms is mentioned. The role of infradian and ultradian rhythms and solar activity in their implications for prevention and therapy of civilisation diseases is emphasized.
