Moreover, the report is supported by a research that has been designed as a case study of South Moravian Region. The findings of the survey resulted in data that were able to achieve mainly two objectives. The first one included the investigation of intensity of cooperation between stakeholders that analysis into details three aspects the partners of cooperation, the main activities of cooperation and the evaluation of cooperation itself. The next objective was to identify according to the level of cooperation the stage of destination management in this region. Although the case study covers only a part of the Czech Republic the result of this research can be generalised because the conditions for building tourism organisation that applies the concept of destination management are similar.
