Abstract

Česká republika, její obyvatelstvo i celá společnosti prošly v posledních dvaceti letech řadou strukturálních i vývojových změn zásadního významu. Významným přitom nebyl pouze rozsah, ale mnoha ohledech také dynamika vývoje. Společenská transformace nastartovala hlavní změny v rodinném a reprodukčním chování obyvatelstva. Těmito a řadou další rysů a otázek recentního sociálně demografického vývoje, konkrétními změnami, jejich příčinami a důsledky, a také perspektivami tohoto vývoje se bude zabývat již 40. výroční (květnová) konference České demografické společnosti, která se uskuteční ve dnech 27. a 28. května 2010 v prostorách Fakulty sociálních studií Masarykovy univerzity v Brně.

Abstract (in English)

Czech Republic, its population and the whole society have undergone in the last twenty years a number of structural and developmental changes of high importance. Not only the amount of changes is important, but in many respects, the dynamics of the development. Social transformation started major changes in family and reproductive behaviour. These and many other issues of recent sociodemographic development, specific changes, their causes and consequences, and prospects of this development are addressed at the 40th Annual Conference of the Czech Demographic Society planned to be held on the 27th and 28th of May 2010 at the Faculty of Social Studies Masaryk University in Brno.
