V našem příspěvku se zabýváme ekonomickými aktivitami vietnamských přistěhovalců v České republice. Na pozadí historického vývoje příchodu Vietnamců do Československa analyzujeme s využitím konceptu etnické ekonomiky vznik a proměny vietnamské imigrantské ekonomiky od období před rokem 1989 až podnes. Dále v textu popisujeme strukturu podnikatelského segmentu této imigrantské ekonomiky a s využitím klasifikace Kesteloota a Mistiaena kategorizujeme jednotlivé segmenty podnikatelských aktivit Vietnamských imigrantů v Česku. V závěru našeho článku se zabýváme problematiky zaměstnaneckých pozic Vietnamců v souvislosti s relativně čerstvým fenoménem agenturního zaměstnávání. V textu ukazujeme, jak je tato imigrantská ekonomika propojená s migrací z Vietnamu a jak souvisí se sociální strukturou této skupiny v Česku.

In our paper we deal with economical activities of Vietnamese immigrants in the Czech Republic. Within the background of the historical development of arrival of Vietnamese in Czechoslovakia we analyze the origin and changes of Vietnamese immigrant economy in the period of time starting before 1989 till today by means of ethnic economy concept. Further, in this paper we describe the structure of entrepreneur segment of this immigrant economy and we categorize individual segments of entrepreneur activities of Vietnamese immigrants in the Czech Republic using Kesteloots and Mistiaens classification. At the end of our paper we are engaged in the issue of employee positions of Vietnamese in connection with relatively new phenomenon of employment through labour agencies. We show the interconnection of this immigrant economy with migration from Vietnam and its relation to the social structure of this group in the Czech Republic.
