Abstract

Rostlinstvo aktivně přeměňuje sluneční energii do podoby uložené v biomase. Především dřevo je proto odedávna používáno jako palivo. Tuto schopnost mají diferencovaně lesní dřeviny. Potenciální druhová skladba lesních porostů ČR je východiskem pro výpočet hodnot energie, která by se uložila v biomase přirozeného lesa za současných podmínek. Mapa je výsledkem základního výzkumu, uživatelem je MŽP ČR a je bez omezení použitelná v praxi.

Abstract (in English)

The vegetation transforms incoming solar energy actively into another form stored in the biomass. Especially the wood has been used since unknown past as a fuel. Such ability is differently spread across forest canopies dependently on their species composition. The map of potential forest vegetation of Czech Republic represents the starting point for the calculation of energy values, which could be stored in the biomass of a natural forest that can develop under present landscape conditions.
