Autor představuje vztah křesťanství a historie, uvádí situaci křesťanů v Evropě po roce 1945, a představuje dva příklady českých církevních historiků daného období.

In English

In the first part of the paper the author discusses the relationship of Christianity and history, in the second part he focuses on some aspects of the situation of Christians in the 20th century, especially after 1945. The third one shows concrete examples of church historians in the times of persecution.
