Abstract
Relation between Critical Resolved Shear Stress and Activation Volume, founded by Basinski and Butt and Feltham for copper and its alloys was confirmed in our work also form cadmium single crystals. Very interesting result for temperature dependence of CRSS in low temperature interval is presented.

Vztah mezi mezí kluzu a aktivačním objemem, který poprvé publikovali Basinski a Butt s Felthamem pro měď a její slitiny, byla v naší práci potvrzena i pro kadmium a jeho slitiny. Navíc je zde uvedena a diskutována velmi zajímavá teplotní závislost meze kluzu v oblasti nízkých teplot.
