Abstract

Odborná kniha analyzuje vybrané prvky rehabilitace, jejich přínos a možnost využití v terapii neurologických onemocnění v seniorském věku. Práce je členěna na teoretickou a výzkumnou část a je strukturována do sedmi kapitol. Teoretická část vymezuje problematiku stáří, neurologických onemocnění a vybraných prvků rehabilitace ve vztahu k nim, prezentuje rodinu jako významný prvek v životě osoby se zdravotním postižením. Obsahem empirické části práce jsou tři výzkumné projekty řešené v letech 2008 až 2010 analyzující služby určené dospělým a stárnoucím osobám s neurologickým onemocněním a využití prvků rehabilitace v péči o tyto osoby v České republice a ve Francii.

Abstract (in English)

The publication analyses particular means of rehabilitation, its effect and possible ways of use in neurological diseases in senior age. The work is divided into theoretical and research part and structured into seven chapters. The theoretical part presents the topic of senior age, neurological diseases, selected means of rehabilitation in relation to them, family as an important element in the life of people with health impairments. The research part contains three areas of our research, realized from 2008 to 2010, analyzing services provided to adults and seniors with neurological diseases and the use of selected means of rehabilitation in the adults' and seniors' care in the Czech Republic and France.
