Kapitola charakterizuje edukaci a terapie žáků s těžkým postižením a souběžným postižením více vadami. Text je doplněn příklady případových studií, které byly zpracovány ve výzkumných šetřeních. Dále analyzuje těžké postižení jako trvalé ohrožení vývoje a života a představuje koncept bazální stimulace.

The chapter deals the education and therapy of pupils with severe disabilities and multiple disabilities. The text is accompanied by examples of case studies, which were prepared in research investigations. Furthermore analyzes severe disability as a permanent threat to life and development and introduces the concept of basal stimulation.
