Abstract

Odborný překlad díla. Pravidla umění (1992) představují jednu ze zásadních pozdních prací Pierra Bourdieua. Autor zde zkoumá proces autonomizace literatury (a umění) ve vztahu k ostatním sférám společnosti, jako je náboženství, politika či ekonomie. Pravidla umění jsou vynikající studií na pomezí sociologie a literární vědy: detailně se zabývají literárním a uměleckým polem ve Francii devatenáctého a dvacátého století, přičemž východiskem je především Flaubertova Citová výchova. Poskytují vhled do Bourdieuova myšlení, které dnes patří k fundamentům sociální vědy.

Abstract (in English)

Translation. Rules of Art (1992) represent one of the major late works of Pierre Bourdieu. The author examines the process autonomization fo the literature (and art) in relation to other spheres of society, like religion, politics or economics. The rules of art are excellent studies on the border between literature and sociology of science: the detail involved in literary and artistic field in France of the nineteenth and twentieth century, starting with the Flaubert’s Sentimental Education. Bourdieu provides insight into the thinking of today as the fundamentals of social science.
