Začátek místního folklorního hnutí spadá do 20. let 20. století a je plně spojen s celospolečenským zájmem o lidovou kulturu a její prezentaci v nových podmínkách. Hlavní osobností tohoto hnutí v Ratíškovicích byl Josef Blaha (1901-1993).

The beginnings of the local folklore movement fall on the 1920s and the are fully connected with the all-society interest in the folk culture and its presentation under new conditions. The main person of this movement in Ratíškovice was Josef Blaha (1901-1993).
