Abstract

Rakovina prsu patří k nejčastějšímu nádorovému onemocnění u žen. Kapitola je věnována komplexní problematice nádoru prsu. Přináší informace o příčinách a příznacích onemocnění. Popisuje základní histopatologické typy a metody, které vedou ke stanovení diagnózy a rozsahu onemocnění. Shrnuje problematiku léčby jak lokální (chirurgie, radioterapie), tak systémové (chemoterapie, biologická léčba, hormonální léčba) a to v kontextu s rozsahem onemocnění. Popisuje poléčebné sledování pacientů.

Abstract (in English)

Breast cancer is the most frequent tumor disease of women. A chapter is devoted to complex issues of breast cancer. It provides information about histopathologic entities, causes and symptoms of the disease. It describes basic histopathologic entities and methods that lead to a diagnosis and specifying the extent of the disease. It summarizes local treatment (surgery, radiotherapy) and systemic teratment (chemotherapy, biological therapy, hormonal therapy) in the context of the extent of the disease. It describes the follow-up of patients.
