Abstract

V originále

The main goal of the paper is to present methods of creating conditions for sustainable tourism in rural area using community participation in local sustainability. We identified as a key actor pupils from primary school. If they actively recognize the important of local sustainability, they could promote local heritage. Typical example lies in management of significant landscape components (SLC), which have a great potential for sustainability and multifunctionality, support biodiversity and preserve historical landscape structures. Pupils started to manage them, they identified themselves with the environment and SLC become one of the important tourist attraction and object for sustainable recreation. Methods of creating conditions for sustainable tourism could be commonly used also directly at educational process – authors successfully published their findings in 3lensus project, which covers database of selected best practice approaches in lifelong learning of sustainable development.
