Abstract

Článek je zaměřen na problematiku vztahu kritického umění a kritického kurátorství v kontextu globalizace prekarizace jako dvou jevů charakteristických pro postfordovskou ekonomiku a univerzálně se šířící neoliberalismus. Důležitými aspekty zkoumání tohoto vztahu jsou problematizování umělecké autonomie samotnými umělci a institucionální kritika jako praxe, v níž se pozice umělců a kurátorů těsně přibližují. Článek je výstupem mapování diskurzu kolaborativního umění realizovaného v rámci řešení výzkumného grantu GAČR Umění jako spolupráce.

Abstract (in English)

The article focuses on the relation between critical art and critical curation in the context of globalization and precarisation as the two phenomena typical for the post-fordist economy and wide-spread neo-liberalism. The important aspects of the analysis of this relationship are dismantling of the art autonomy by artists themselves and institutional critique as the praxis in which positions of artists and curators merge. The article is the outcome of the analysis of a discourse of collaborative art that makes part of the research within research grant GAČR Art as collaboration.
