Abstract
V originále
Spatiality of functional units in rural landscape in the greater Brno area: Lipůvka-Lažany-Újezd. By the term spatiality (in meaning to the “time and space” attributes of sites) we understand a set of complex characteristics of functional area (unit) which vary in time and space. These characteristics can be qualitative as well as quantitative. We went out from ESPECT/TODS approach (commonly used in field research) and in the case of the model locality in the rural hinterland of the Greater Brno area we tried to combine the principles of land use composition and landscape management approach. Our focus site was represented by three municipalities: Lipůvka, Lažany and Újezd u Černé Hory. Final synthesis of both approaches is modeled in geographical information systems. We also assessed boundary-lines between mapped units. The aim was to describe the dependency of border sharpness of functional units on the dynamism of their utilization.
