Abstract
The interference of excessive bromide intake with iodine metabolism in the rat was studied using 82Br and 131I radionuclides. The effects of an enhanced bromide intake on the thyroid function in relation to iodine status in the animals were also followed.

Na laboratorních potkanech byla studována interference nadbytečného příjmu bromidu s metabolismem jodu s použitím radionuklidů 82Br a 131I. U experimentálních zvířat byly rovněž sledovány účinky zvýšeného příjmu bromidu na funkci jejich štítné žlázy, ve vztahu k úrovni jejich zásobení jodem.
