Abstract

Tento teoretický příspěvek představil základní terminologii (sekta, kult, fundamentalismus) a popsal obecné charakteristiky sekt a kultů. Dále byly popsány vybrané motivy pro vstup do sekt a kultů. Rovněž byly představeny typické znaky a rysy sekt podle vybraných autorů. Nejpodstatnější část se však zaměřila na konkrétní rekrutační praktiky sekt, přičemž se zaměřila na konkrétní postupy a strategie získávání nových stoupenců. Závěrečná část textu se zaměřila na popis aktivit Policie ČR v této oblasti, tak aby došlo k eliminaci případného vlivu sekt a kultů na území ČR.

Abstract (in English)

This theoretical article introduced the basic terminology (sect, cult, fundamentalism) and described general characteristics of sects and cults. Furthermore, selected motives for the entering into sects and cults were analyzed as well as the typical features of such groupings according to selected authors. However, the main part focused on concrete recruitment practices of sects, especially on processes and strategies used for attracting new members. The final part focused on description of Police‘ activities in this field with the aim of elimination sects‘ and cults‘ influence on the Czech territory.
