Considerable deformities of children's growing skeletons are caused by metabolic diseases (rickets, scurvy) belonged in the past. As far as traumatic changes are concerned, infractions can be found in the main. Traumas cause a disproportional growth of bones sometimes, while they heal almost without traces in other cases. Inflammatory changes of children's bones are caused by tb most frequently or by an inborn form of syphilis later on. Sets of children's skeleton facilitate sometimes the study of some inborn skeleton defects. It is important to know the life as well as climatic conditions of the investigated population, children's status care, the spectrum of children's diseases in the given historical period, as well as the medical care level and its possibilities for the interpretation of results.
