Abstract (in Czech)
Článek shrnuje dosavadní bádání o mečových pásech z 9. a 10. století v západní a střední Evropě a zveřejňuje některé dosud nepublikované nebo v literatuře málo známé exempláře. Autor rozlišuje tři hlavní typy mečových pásů: s trojlistým kováním, typ Závada a typ Marsum. Všechny vznikly na území Franské říše v době karolinské.
Abstract (in English)
The paper sums up the hitherto knowledge of sword belts from the 9th and 10th centuries in central and western Europe. Sword belts were of a relatively heterogeneous appearance. We can distinguish three main types: sets with trefoil mount, and the Závada and Marsum types. All three types of sword belt sets emerged on the territory of the Frankish Empire.
