Abstract

The paper tries to analyze the impact of shift in ruling coalitions in the Czech republic on the European policy. The main hypothesis of the paper is that the shift of European policy is limited in several ways, mainly by the pressure exerted on domestic players by the European Union. (Un)professionality of the byreaucracy, developmnet within political parties and coalition bargaining are the other factors which influence the shaping of the European policy.

Cíle příspěvku je zhodnotit dopad vládních změn na podobu politiky České republiky k Evropské unii. Hlavním předpokladem příspěvku je existence tlaku ze strany EU, kter limituje realizaci změn v Evropské politice. Dalšími faktory, které je třeba brát v potaz, jsou kvalita byrokratického aparátu, role koaličních partnerů nebo vnitrostranický vývoj.
